- Will you lose a client order or incur a contractual penalty?

- Assuming standard shipping is safe. It is usually fine. But "usually" is not a deadline. If the window is tight, pay for the guarantee.
- Trusting the "cheaper distributor." The budget vendor choice looked smart until we saw the packaging. They could not provide a proper invoice (handwritten receipt only). Finance rejected the expense report. I ate $200 out of the department budget. The "savings" evaporated.
